Our background

Born in medical cannabis

Under the name Cannabis Pharm, we were one of the first companies in Denmark licensed by the Danish Medicines Agency to grow cannabis for the development of medicine.

Founder and CEO Morten Nøhr Mortensen has worked with cannabis since medical cannabis became legal in Denmark in 2018. Together with Christina, he left a permanent job to build Cannabis Pharm and work full time with one of the world's oldest cultivated plants.

Today we are Cosmira. Indoor cultivation under grow lights has given way to sun-ripened hemp from farmers' fields, and the know-how from medical production goes into the extraction that turns it into CBD oil and isolated cannabinoids for business partners across Europe.

How we do it

From sun-grown hemp to tested oil

Grown in Southern Europe. Extracted and refined in Denmark.
